Gary began his career in financial management with Shell Offshore, Inc. as an entry-level accountant. After two years, he decided to pursue a career in health care financial management, joining Ochsner Clinic in 1993. During his 16 years at Ochsner, Gary became well-respected and affectionately known as chief “Make It Happen,” causing ordinary people to become extraordinary in both their professional and personal lives. Additionally, Gary founded The Make It Happen Learning Institute to educate and inspire leaders in corporate America to develop their God-given leadership potential and create cultures of empowerment in the workplace.
Janet Boynes is the author of Called Out and founder of Janet Boynes Ministries (JBM), a non-denominational Christian outreach that ministers to hurting people desiring to leave the homosexual lifestyle. JBM challenges individuals and the church to reach out with a message of hope and restoration to the homosexual community. Janet speaks frequently at churches and conferences and ministers to parents of homosexual children.
Janet has appeared on The 700 Club, Life Today with James Robison; Daystar's Celebration; and Sharon Bailey; and Time for Hope with Dr. Freda Crews. Articles on her life story have been printed in Exodus International's Real Stories and in Today's Pentecostal Evangel. Janet has been interviewed on various Christian radio stations, including Moody Radio station in Chicago, Bob Dutko on WMUZ in Detroit, Michigan, and Today's Issues on American Family Radio.
Honoree Broderson has lived in Kona, Hawaii, with her husband for 37 years. They have three sons. She taught in the public school system, and pioneered and administrated two Christian schools. She has been active in local church youth programs throughout the years. After retiring, she took up what she loved to teach—writing. Ripped Off! is her first novel (in THE WAVES series.)
Rita Carr has a bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior, a master’s degree in education, and a doctorate in Christian counseling. She is a licensed counselor and is nationally certified as an alcohol and drug counselor. In 1997 the Lord used Rita to birth Hope Unlimited Ministry, an outreach to single mothers and their children. Through that organization, Rita has impacted the lives of single mothers in her area and around the world. She is the proud parent of three children and seven grandchildren.
